Sanded on the hood and finally got it done and prepped for paint.I also found an exhaust leak behind the heat shield on the exhaust manifold. Found some block off plates on my parts truck and no she's quiet.I hated that sound it was ***** iratating.

 

Swapped the bench for some pretty cherry leather-ish(not sure what material) buckets racing seat.They're kind of big but then again I'm not a small guy.Idk maybe they'll end up in my 87.We'll see.Now I can run a 10' tube down the middle or build a box.

I got the hood painted up. It came out pretty nice for a rattle can job.Next on the never ending list is the roof and the tailgate.I should also be swapping out the bed soon.

Been trying to do at least one thing everyday on this truck.Been kinda hard lately but got some sh!t done.Sanded and painted the panel in between the hood and the windshield.Sanded and painted the tailgate.Working on the cabs roof next.I also found a set of four chrome valve cover bolts to use as my wiper bolts on both trucks.Still waiting to fix my gas tank then swap out the beds.bringing the spare tank home I'm just gonna weld it up myself.Hopefully it don't blow.Maybe I'll fill it up with water then weld.

got some new rubbers for the rear and also swaped out the sliding back glass for a solid one.flipped it around too.

 

Looking good. I know how it is to balance projects. My work travels kill get in the way the most.
