Welcome to the site! Being that I'm the original owner of my truck, graduated in 1983 from HS, drove my truck all through college, & attend my alumni events, you can probably say that I'm old school. Everybody during the mini-truck craze drove either a Nissan hardbody, Mazda B2000, or an '84-'88 Toyota and used the 195/50-15 tires. Very interesting things the guys used to do with their truck back then like install hydraulics and drive down the street showing off how their truck bed can "dance." LOL!!! Anyways, have fun hanging out with us! Rick
This attached pic is the truck that made me fall in love with Mini Trucks, I had a 76 (my step dads) so that made it even better to have a visiual right in front of me. I had a-lot of problems with that Isuzu motor. My friend had 78 Toyota L/B SR5 that Never, Ever broke down and reliability to me became more important than looks, I made the switch to Toyota and have been there ever since, that was back in 1988, 24 years of Mini Truckin'! This 82 of mine is just like my first truck (actually mine) that I had in high schol and traded a guy for a 80 Toyota, big mistake, vowed to have another 82 someone and give it the very best and that is what I am currently doing! I still have a soft spot for Luv's though, always will! http://i325.photobucket.com/albums/k393/tacomatoy2001/luv.jpg PS. I used to droll over this truck. It used to hold me captive when I looked at it like a beautiful full figured woman, hard thing to explain.I wish I still had that mag, pretty sure it was Truckin'.
