Anyone gone doorless and mounted sideview mirrors on the fender or something? Im going to do it for the hot summer. Post pics if you have. What mirrors did you use?

I wouldnt think its a big deal. Jeeps go doorless all the time. As long as you have restraints and mirrors you should be good.

Maybe in Canada but cops never hassled me for being doorless in Kansas. And being a member of the worlds largest Jeepforum I have done quite a bit of reading on the subject. Basically it's on a state by state basis, I say go for it as long as you have mirrors and aren't being a dumbass you will be fine.

Going doorless is awesome during the summer also.

Back in high school my buddy had a 4x4 88 we went doorless all summer long multiple times and never got harassed and eventually topless as he destroyed it

I though there was some law were u couldn't remove part of a vehicle if it was considered part of the occupier crash structure . Though jeeps were allowed to do this because there doors are not part of that ..I say go for it if they stop you slapem back on

Ya, now my only concern is that spiders and squirrels (or worse) will take up residence in my ride. I could shoo out the larger animals if it came to that, but as far as spiders and bees/wasps... ahhh hell nooo!!!

If I drove around without doors on a lowered mini truck in LA (non trail/offroad), people would think I was nuts.

Where exactly do you live crashburnoveride?

with our ICBC laws here in Canada , tube doors are not legal (VI If caught) so I run and also build 1/2 doors
