    Worked on trucks all weekend

    My brother in law (a.k.a Nyao on Guam) got hit in an accident and I've been helping here and there to get his truck back up and running in time for new years.It's a tradition for the boys over here to break out there trucks on new years eve and get buck wild with them.It gets crazy but lots of fun.Anyways his truck "WAS" stock EFI automatic with aircon.The damage from the wreck was up front only.It buckled his inner fender wall on the pass. side.Luckily no chassis damage.He could not find a donner cab so he decided to cut the fender walls out completely.Mine was cut on my 87 by the previous owner and I dont really like it cause it's hard to keep the engine clean but he did what he had to do.He ran the fuse box back into the cab and cleaned up all the wires.The battery will be put in a box and be mounted in the bed.He pulled all the EFI components and will be mounting up some cherry Mikuni 44s with a Canon intake.Also a Web 292 cam will be put in and he also put in a new 6 puck clutch with a cenerforce PP.Yesterday we slapped on the 5 speed manual trans and bolted up the drive shaft which is longer then the automatic drive shaft btw.He also painted the firewall.Here's some pics[IMG][IMG][IMG]my nephew came over to help too.Thats his truck with the pink racing stripe[IMG][IMG][IMG]

    Been a while

    It's been a while since I've posted on my own thread but here goes.I've been working on my 91 4x4 with a 4" suspension lift.It is still IFS due to sh!t being fkin expensive over here but I work with that for now.I recently slapped on some rear shackles that brought the back up another 1"1/4 and that pretty much leveled it out.I also bought a set of 4 ProComp ES3000's with a new ES2000 steering stablizer and she rides great now.No more clank clank.Yesterday I found a good deal on a set of TSL SUper Swamper Boggers.35 14 15's.I plan on using the rims I have now which are 10.5 15's so I hope it doesn't bubble out too much.Anty ways here's some pics[IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

    But how did it turn out switching from EFI to carb I want to do the same since EFI is giving me too many headaches at the moment. And what did you do with the wiring. Thanks bro

    We have clay red dirt over here that packs up in the treads and once you get stuck you're fked.It was a choice between 1200 series tractors or the 35 boggers and I think the boggers are better because they also prevent you from sliding sideways as where the tractors don't.Side drafts are pretty common over here.You can find a used set over here for like $400-$450 for the carbs and about $300-$400 for the intake.A lot of boys get them from Mikuni Carb Parts.
    @milehighhilux
    Yes I converted this from EFI to carb for a couple of reasons the main one was it had a bunch of problems and I didn't have money for the efi parts but I already had all the carb stuff.It was pretty easy.I dropped the gas tank and pulled out the efi fuel pump and replaced it with a fuel line and pickup screen from the efi pump.I have a carter electric pump up front now.I also pulled the efi fuse and computer box.As for the wiring I had to cut some of it to find power sources for my 32/36 and fuel pump.other then that I just secured the other sh!t off to the side.Let me know if you have any other questions about that. I can help.Runs great.I'm going to have my friend do the trick for getting a Webber 32/36 to not bog out on a steep incline.I think you gotta drill a new hole or something like that.

    I'm mounting and balancing the Boggers today and I also plan on swapping out the gearing from my parts truck which is a v6 into my 4cyl.It has a 4.10 and the v6 has a 4.56.I will need to do the rear 3rd member and the front Ifs 3rd member so that should be fun.I found this helpfull guide to identifying your gearing Gearratiosanddiffs
