hello everybody , literally just bought a 1984 4x4 toy. original 22r with 155500 miles, original interior , just needs a little tlc and ready to go. Im super excited Will post pics of updates.. here is how she sits right now ...

 

Wow that truck looks brand new on the outside. Make sure to check the underside of the bed for rust, they tend to split on the bedisdes. Nice find though. Looking forward to the build.

well, did a full tune up on the truck , spark plugs, spark plug wires, air filter , fuel filter , new rotar and cap , oil change , both diff oil change , rebuilt carb , checked timing . runs so smooth now... I try to find any excuse to drive it ... truck is soild , no rust and never been hit .. needs shocks , goin to get bilstiens hd, going to paint wheels black, and rear bumper black.. any suggestions or comments are welcomed thanks all for the kind words

 

body is not perfect but as you can see its pretty straight .... has a couple of battlescars but still in great shape...

 

Good cheap plans for the truck. Glad it is running smooth for you. These are such great trucks that go anywhere and dont beat up your wallets while doing so. Is it the picture but the back looks like it sits lower then the front?

 

its just the picture, it sits even , plus it has two different sets of tires , but I dont care lol ... still haven't had a chance to wash and wax her, just stopped raining.

havent been on here for a while but had to get new tires yesterday .
here is how the truck is after a nice wash and wax with the new tires
