Hey all, Im new to the forums but not new to the toyota mini scene. Like i saw from someone comment on a post, a toyota to the people from guam is life . I pratically grew up around mini trucks and was determined to finally own one myself. I have a 1994 Toyota pickup 22re single cab. I bought it a few years ago and absolutely love it! Though Washington's weather makes it hard to keep anything clean, i try my best. I will post some pics with this post. the truck is not done, its an ongoing project. I have some scratches on the side of the truck which you will notice from the pics.. while i was away stationed in Idaho, my cousins decided to put a camper on the bed and it didnt fit so it slid down the side of the truck causing the scratches. Sad i know lol. Also, for those of you who are wondering what kind of rims i have... they are the old school centerlines. I was lucky enough to have bought the truck with them already on. But here are the pics: I love sunny days in Washington Enjoy everyone!
Welcome that's clean truck man sittin right great wheel choice whatever they are kinda look like an eagle wheel maybe not sure tho
Welcome! I'm the original owner of my truck, so I've been a part of the mini truck scene for 31 years. My alumni friends from HS are amazed that I still have my truck from school. I ran Centerlines Pro- Trucks series for almost 20 years and I switched over to the ARE Vectors. So, where are you in the Pacific Northwest? I have family in King County. Rick
Yeah i love my centerlines. While stopped at traffic lights, i always get asked if im selling my rims. I just look at them, smile, and shake my head lol. They are very hard to find in Washington or maybe im looking in all the wrong places. Im from the thurston county area in Lacey/Olympia. The minitruck scene is lacking here. Its like everyone is in hibernation.
Thanks guys. Cleaning the rims with the mother's chrome polish by hand sucks but in the end its well worth it.
Oh yeah sometimes after I've been polishing for a couple hours I forget and dig my nose and then smell the mothers for the rest of the day.LOL no for reals.
thanks chel'u. gotta a lot of work to do though. Its gonna go through a new paint job. but im thinking about doing a custom paint job. grafitti style! Plus im saving for the air bag suspension kit.
haha you gonna love my new minitruck tat. its my truck but shaved with a graffiti background (gonna say "slammed") and my trucks laying frame, flingin sparks haha (the real thing'll get there one day, dont judge me.) il post a pic: just the outline so far, gotta book another session.
