He's running awfully skinny tires with a 40% sidewall, no wonder they look big ! :eyecrazy:

Toyota's are very light. If it was a heavier truck, a 40 series tire would be a problem.

    It's actually a smooth ride.

It's all good, I got a fat 255/40 and 265/35 combo on my truck.

4/4 drop with 4" block, 3" DJM comtrol arms, and BJ flip. 17" rims with 205/45r17 front, 225/45r17 rear

Soon to get belltech drop spindles, and turned torsions, and relocated shackles.

I did this and added the BJ flip. I ended up notching the frame in the rear to make room because it was flat on the bump stops with the 4" blocks in the rear. Now that the frame is notched and it has new shocks all the way around it rides better and smoother then stock. Im running monroe's in the front, and gabriel gas-a-just in the rear. The LCA's dont require drop shocks. The arms make the truck 3" lower without taking away any ride quality at all. Balljoint flip doesnt affect any ride or suspension either. It was real easy to do too. Took me a full day to do the complete install by myself with pretty basic tools. Did need a new alignment after. Notch was a bit more involved.

Overall, I think its the most cost effective way to get as low as you can without pulling leafs and turning your torsion bars down. I made my own notch for like $35 So i only have about $370 in everything to drop it including the new alignment.

Lol. Its all dented to crap. There isnt one straight panel on the entire truck. even the roof is wavy. Good thing new body parts are so cheap for these trucks!:headbang:

Oh dang! Hey man! I dont have any recent. All I have is one from right after the drop, and the suspension has settled since then. Right now all 4 OEM mudflaps are about 1.5-1.25" off the ground when its parked. Pics of the notch are in my build thread.

And yeah. Minitruckin is waaayyyy cheaper then the ruckus life.:duh:

Ill get a decent side shot tomorrow.

UPDATE: Ditched the tuner 18s and went with stocks

Before: 18x8" Tenzo wheels w/ 225/40/18 tires with 4"/4" drop

After: 14x5" stocks w/ 205/70/14 BF Goodrich tires with 4"/4" drop

Tires are rubbing when turning so I may raise the front up about .5" to 1". I could get smaller tires but the BF's are too nice to replace.
