Is it one bushing per arm or two? I'm thinking one and looks like one, but want to make sure I have everything I need.

I'm trying to figure out how I'm going to get the damn thing out since it looks like it goes threw the frame and not the actual arm!

Yes these go through the frame and there is only one. I just rebuilt the entire front end of my 85. One of the mechanic manuals for my truck tells you how to make a tool to get them out.

When it came down to it and I actually got to the bushing and removing it, I backed out. They weren't cracking or showing much damage or wear. I can look it up and try to describe it on here later.

Ok, I'll try my best to describe this.

    Nut:Washer:Large Socket:(bushing):Small socket:Washer:Bolt

Large socket: This needs to be big enough for the bushing to push into. The one I had was big enough for the Moog, but not for the factory one. The metal ring is a little bigger around on the factory one.

Small socket. This has to be small enough to push into the hole that the bushing is in.

You'll need a long threaded bolt to fit through all of these. You assemble it through the bushing. Holding the Nut, you crank the Bolt head thus pushing the small socket into the bushing and the bushing into the large socket out of the frame.

Like I said earlier, I didn't actually attempt this, but mainly cause my socket wasn't big enough for the factory bushing. The large socket will be the hardest part to find.

    Hope this helps.
