Hello everyone, My names Roni I live in PHX AZ and just purchased my first Pick up. The plan is to make this a clean gas saving daily driver. The truck is a 1994 single cab 22RE 5speed with 177k. It is sitting on blocks with torsion bar adjustment. Motor runs great with no leaks and same for transmission. Has some rims that I really am not a fan of along with an aftermarket muffler that I guess I can live with for now. Other then the stuff mentioned and what looks to be some minivan seats (witch I love) Its pretty stock. There is a few things I plan on getting rid of and a few things I plan on adding. I also just got it ready to do the battery intake swap. I will be starting a build thread on the truck soon. Questions and comments always welcome. This site is going to be a huge help!! On a side note I also own a 1995 4Runner 22RE 5speed and a 1998 Subaru Legacy N/A EJ25 auto, both of which have their own build threads. LEGACY BUILD 4RUNNER BUILD PICS -RONI-
that truck looks pretty good man... i like the rims you have on there. i wish i was near you. i would try to get some money and buy them from you haha
Thanks for the posative feedback guys I feel welcomed! Jctoy29- yea it was on CL listed for 3000$ iI got it for 2300$. Theres a few things wrong with it such as having a welded rear diff! Lol more on that in the build thread. Im glad a few of you locals already found me I wouldnt mind meeting up to wrench. I dont have any experience with mini trucks so Ill take any help and info i can get. Got a few things from the junkyard yesterday. I will be dechroming the whole truck and changing the grill and bumper. So the chrome grill and bumper will be for sale if anyone is interested. Today will be oil change and MAYBE if IM up to it ill do the battery intKe swap. Hopefully by tonight I will have my build thread up and running. Question...anyone have any experience with Supra AFM swap? I found one yesterday. Forgive my crappy grammer im on the cell right now. -RONI-
I can do the supra afm swap the best one to get is the 86 to 92 since the fuel trim door has more adjustment since it has finner theeth you will have to swap the bords over form the 22re afm since the 22re use 2.5 volt to 9 volt air flow signal in stead of the common 0 to 5 volt if you do wana do it your self ya can send both of them to me and i can do the swap just one of my pictures when doing the swap
I'd really like that front chrome bumper for my 1995 Toyota Extended Cab Truck. My bumper has few dings. How much do you want to for it, and would you be willing to ship it?
I actually do know about the board swapping process but I was under the impression that some years you can just plug and play in the 22re. Any info. on what years are just plug and play? I'm pretty sure 82 is...but is that the only year? PM being sent. Thanks for the welcome guys, I love the site so far! Build thread is up and running check it out and feel free to chime in on ANYTHING. AssYriaNrocKer's 94 SingleCab Build Thread -RONI-
