Well I'm from California the BayArea, kinda of a long story ill try to sum it up real quick. This truck we have came from a family member who had it for the past 10yrs or so, my pops loved the truck because it reminded him of one he owned and purchased brand new in 1977 in Nicaragua. He traded for this Yota and we've always used it locally, lately it's just been sitting and with the gas prices through the roof and my 4runer getting me only 16mpg why not put it to use. Pops and I own an firebird and plan on selling it due to some hard times... So we need a toy! I've been looking online and YouTube for cool ideas and just fell in love with all the things we can do to this mini. We're not looking into anything crazy, first we have to slam it...any suggestions?

 

lowering springs/kyb shocks in the front, 3"-4" blocks in the back with shaved bumpstops!

 

minus middle leaf spring and torsion is the cheapest ones...its free

 

did they go to torsion bars by '78?

Thanks for the inputs, ill most likely do the springs and blocks, I've done other cars the free way and I'm to old for those bumpy rides lol.
