rear window question

    do the regular cab and extra cab have the same rear window or does the extra cab have a bigger window?

    I think theyre bigger, thats what I heard anyways.

    I know it's bigger, I haven't been able to find a junkyard solid rear window to replace my slider. I will probably have to buy a new one...
    I believe that the reason could be that in the standard cab, the seat would cover part of the glass if it were the same size as the xtracab. No need to waste any material.

    . . . just passing along or adding to this thread that I found my standard rear window from http://www.taprecycling.com/ , I ended up picking it up for $ 85 with shipping ! Not bad eh' Of course its used, but thats okay with me !

    They are different. I have an 89 ext cab and broke mine and only the extended cab will fit.

    Im all the way in tampa florida but I can pack it very good and hopefully it will not break on its way, if it does it will be insured. shipping will cost $30ish maybe less... and shoot me an offer, I dont know how much its worth ?

    Just Wanted To Add That I Have A Lexan Window Myself Which Came Tinted I Had Them Make It With The Third Brake Light Which Always Leaks Water, But The Point I Wanted To Make Is They Seem To Swirl Up, Not So Nice In The End For Show Unless You Can Remove The Swirls. If You Figure It Out Let Me Know
