    It's been awhile

My work gots me traveling. I've been pretty busy here. I still tinker with the truck. Actually, I've been driving it to work more frequently (102 miles round trip) at least once a week.

Since last updated, I tore apart the interior and layed down some "Fat Mat" (dynomat). I also welded in a bracket for my center console. It is now permanantly in.

Oh and I finally had my rims redone. I wanted to be different and it is. I 'll load up some pics when I get home.

I'll be out on travel again come next week so the truck will be tucked away until I return. When I get back, gonna start getting quotes on paint and body.

I'm thinking of painting it either a FJ cruiser off white or maybe a pearl white. Possibly metallic brown. What do you guys think?

Ford has a factory Beer Bottle Brown Metallic from the early 80s. It is a fricken sweet color...good beer bottle brown with a ton of gold flake...with those wheels, it would look AMAZING!

    It's been awhile

I haven't really messed with this for awhile. Just been having my daily fun with the other yota. I take her out of the garage once every other month just to remind me that it still runs good. I'm now set on having it wrapped vs painting it. Carbon fiber white all around with the tonneau cover carbon fiber black. Should make the wheels really "pop".

    It's been awhile.

Decided to drive my truck into work Today. Last days of it being in one piece...again. I'm planning to strip it down, this time for a major project. Plans are to vinyl wrap this thing in one color. I'll start a new thread when I do, so stay tuned...

    Slow progress...

Since my last update, I tore her down again and started the vinyl wrapping process. All that is left is the bed which will require one solid piece since I have no tailgate which means no seems. I also have to take care of body work before I begin. Thus, the reason why its taking so slow. Please keep in mind that this is my first time doing this. If I had my choice to do it again, I probably wouldn't but I have gone too far with this to go back. Anyways, here's a couple of pics:

Everything will be carbon fiber. White for the majority of the truck and black on the tonneau as well as the hood
