Finally starting my build after about a year of trying to choose between make it a drift truck or doing a SAS.

Drifting is starting to blow up here so I decided to show people that trucks can drift too.

Since I've had a welded 8" v6 rearend sitting in my back yard for about a year, Im gonna finally put it to good use.

The motor will be all stock, untill something gives way which will probably be the bottom end since the top half has been rebuilt. Only thing I'll add is a progressive carb to clean up the engine bay a little and give it a little more grunt. Also EGR will be blocked off.(Been juggling the idea of stuffing a 1uz in it)

My exhaust is just a cat delete, 2" piping from manifold back to a 2" thrush turbo muffler. The stock exhaust manifold seem to work well with the 2" piping

For suspension I got 3" steel blocks from streetacos, stock leaf pack(3leafs and overload) and loosened torsion up front with cheap a** shocks from napa. The fronts gonna have all new energy suspension bushings and drop spindles. And addco anti-swaybars will be added front and back.

And gonna be doing the hydro e-brake mod latter on

Its gonna be kind of a slow build since its my daily. I'll get pic up of its current state up tomorrow.

Not sure about over there, but here you can get an oem 1-ton bar *from toyota* less than you can get aftermarket bars for. Also heard the addco bars have fitment issues in the rear...

Can't wait to see some progress on this!

So did some research on nissan s14 dimensions and compared them to my truck. Came up with this.

    S14 stats
    Height : 50.8 in.
    Overall length : 177.2 in.or14.75ft
    Wheelbase : 99.4 in.
    Overall Width : 68.1 in.

    Toyota pickup longbed RN55L:
    Height:56"
    Overall length:15.5'
    Wheelbase:116"
    Overall width:62"

Its kind of close, my trucks just a little bit bigger.

Looks like the diff might touch the gas tank when installed. Did anyone that installed a v6 diff have this problem??

Painted it with rustoleum gloss black protective enamel after a good scrub down with a scuffing pad and purple power degreaser.

Sweet yeah I got my 7.5 welded and no problems I just welded it like beefed posted with 4 plates. That's what the 240 guys do I hear. I love the 22r especially in my 4x but need a little more power to spin those tires
