Yeah nice to meet you too. I was coming home from picking up the wifey from work at the mall and as i drove by the park I saw your lights and I knew that was your truck. I slowed down enough so the wifey could see your truck so she cant say that our yotas can look sic slammed and nag me about getting rid of it. You saw my tacoma so imagine that my 82 will probably sit about an inch lower that! Also heres some pics of my 82 when we dropped it last year and pics of my tacoma.
Cool. I work for the city parks and recreation at Kit Carson and my other job is at Hidden Valley Bikes so Bear Valley, Citrus, and E. Valley pkwy are pretty much my stomping grounds. I am looking forward to seeing the 82 dropped all the way. Also I noticed the GPS mount you had in the upper left corner of the cab. Looked pretty sweet. We should meet up some time so I can figure out what options I have for my truck. I sold my minivan so I have some money to play with and am eager to get something done to my yota. and to everyone else, thanks for the warm welcome and hopefully soon I will have a build thread up for all to enjoy!
Ok thats what I like to hear! i have some blocks for you and we surely need to get together so you can see my suspension on my tacoma so you can get ur truck notched. Man thats great that you work at HV bikes cause my other hobby is restoring beach cruisers. I just dont have the knowledge on installing cranks. But for everything else I have the knowledge. Now that I think about it I recognized you from somewhere I think is was from the bike shop. Just bought my whitewalls from there and maybe you can show me some skills to get better with the bikes and I can help you get skills for your truck.
I already have blocks on the rear . Cranks on beach cruisers can be fun especially if they have unsealed ball bearings bottom brackets and if they are 1 piece. The bike for car info sounds like a good deal. Just send me a private message whenever and we can figure out some time to meet up and truck(?) if that is what you are supposed to say. haha.
Welcome to TM. Take advantage of having a neighbor who has similar interests. I wish I had a neighbor who could help me. Great truck, enjoy
Your truck looks really sic parked in front of your work. It really looks great especially because Valley Parkway is very busy and all of Escondido sees your truck!
I try and park it in that spot as much as I can if I am at work so everyone can check it out. One of my boss's has an 85' lifted toyota in the same color so I park it next to his a lot to kind of do a side by side.
Yes Ive seen that truck thats a nice truck too. Im off on Mon and Sat maybe we can grab a bite to eat and talk trucks?
Hey what's up guys! After selling my pride and joy hilux I will soon be back in the game with a newer truck! I switche over to a little miata but couldn't scratch the Toyota itch and it kept getting worse. Keep in tune for a sweet project coming up
Oh Dang, Nice. Cant wait to see what you do with this one. Congrats on the new ride. Oh ya and welcome back. Hopefully after i get a few more buxs i will be back in the scene to.
