Whats going on guys! Names Jamar, Ive been lurking around the board for the past few days while shopping around on the local CL ads for a mini truck to build. Had just sold my foxbody with plenty of upgrades and what not but needed something else as i am killing myself with the cost of gas for my 02 Lightning and 04 A4 Audi (wife drives it though so atleast we can save a few bucks there lol ).

Came a cross a 85 Yota that at the very least needs a carb rebuild and some head work before i put it to daily driver duty. currently sits on 19 inch TRD wheels that will more then likely be sold or traded for some 15s or 16s in the very near future. as im typing this im getting ready to throw in my pioneer deck from the foxbody and plan on attempting to drop the truck this weekend.

    Welcome, Jamar!!!

What year was your Fox? I have a '93GT.

The truck is in fair condition, but most of it is cosmetics which are easily replaceable. I would suggest sticking with 15" wheels.

my fox was an 88 LX hatch. eddie rpm heads with 2.02 valves, eddie upper and lower intake,24# injectors, bbk long tubes..ect

before that i had an 87 GT

yea the bumper looks like someone gave another car a love tap and the grill is loose. need to locate the side lenses, driver side front turn signal and a passenger rear taillight. more excuses to hit the local pick a part this weekend or over the next few weekends lol.

yea i am leaning more twards some 15s. I did find a guy in town who has a few sets of the starion wheels so i may go check them out but those would be the only 16s id buy. hoping i can get lucky and just trade someone these 19s for some 15s lol. gotta look and see how much these TRD wheels went for so i dont sell myself short.

SW side. ya, there is a small "Guam" crew that my other buddy rolls with -im gonna start hanging around them more too cuz they know all kinds of tips n tricks. my buddy, he's got an 87, but he's building it for drag. fully built engine, from bottom up. only stock internal is the crank! (n the block)
mines will be a "street rod" style (hopefully) lol

most of the mini guys i know are from guam. u know a guy named charlie? i think his last name is cruz. owns a red truck (i think)

Hello and welcome, your trucks looks great! I just had to post up this video based on your introduction title. AC/DC is by far my favorite band and they just define rock n roll period. We went up to Seattle about 3 months ago and seen the AC/DC museum at the experince music, it was such a cool expeirence seeing all their history.

    Hope you like it.

just an update from this previous comment i made.. timing was waaaaaaaaaaaaaay off. set the timing right on the money and its smooth with no backfire. i used so much carb cleaner earlier that i really doubt i need to disassemble it haha. Timing appears to be at 5 with the hoses hooked up. that sound about right? idles real high when cold but drops to 800-950 (guessing as i dont have a tach or cluster with one yet).
