Had a hit and run in my 99 2wd reg cab taco.. traded it straight across totalled for s 88 22r base model reg cab 2wd. Purrs like a kitten and goes down the road like a dream loving it so far! Even with no A/C or p/s and 50 less hp. Haha. Since I've had her. New steering wheel. 3" blocks in rear, flipped b/j and cranked torsions in the front. Rear bumps removed and fronts ground flat with 3/4 in. Of rubber left.. soon to be belltech spindles shocks and crank torsions back up.. Won't let me upload pic. I will edit with pics asap.

Welcome to the other side, I came from Custom Tacos too! Had an 01, sold it and bought the same body style I had in high school, best decision I ever made, I'm doing everything I CAN myself and everything on this truck is slowly becoming brand new. Your truck looks really clean, just take things slowly and my advice is TRY and do everything in complete sections, suspension (1st), body work ect, that way once one area is done, its done and you don't have to worry about it anymore. Good luck. The 84-88 is a clean body style, love the 4wd bed and front fender look.
