i vote first as well. i'm not a big fan of tow mirrors and can't wait to get rid of mine. the datsun pickups used to have mirrors that were pretty close to the toyotas. if i were you i'd check the classifieds on ratsun.net

by the way i had some mirrors just like your first choice on my '70 chevy impala but they had the bowtie engraved in them. shib was hauwss. my friend has had the car for a year and the mirrors still look great.

Thanks for the opinions, the first one is what I am leaning towards, unless someone has another option. I'll have to look into the datsun mirrors.

The little one basically looks like what is on my '74 but just a bit more streamlined. The second one will cut your gas mileage down as that's a ton of turbulence.

comments say the first mirror is made of plastic so that is crappy. look into 65-66 mustang mirrors for a round mirror, or 67-68 mustang for a square mirror. they're cheap from the aftermarket and are made of metal.

Thanks Burnsya, I didn't even think to check that. It's definatly not what I want. I'll look into the Mustang mirrors.
