    Hello,
Thanks for letting me join TM. My first Toyota was a 1970 HiLux - a great truck and fun to drive. It's in good condition but had dreams of restoring it to mint. I can't seem to find the time and think I would rather let it go to someone who would appreciate it and restore it than just letting it sit. Living in the Sierra Nevada I need a 4WD and this 2WD isn't very practical for me right now. I hope to post more info and photos soon in the For Sale section. I hate to give it up but would rather have it taken care of and driven than just sit and wait for me to find time to restore it.
    Thanks - John

That's really REALLY clean. You should definitely post a lot more pics. Are you in the tahoe area? I live in Jackson, but i work at South Lake sometimes.

Yeah that looks really awesome! Love the green. You should keep the hilux and get another truck to 4x in :) if you do sell it i'm sure it will be easy

    Thanks for the welcome –

Yotaforce: I live about three hours south of Lake Tahoe - maybe an hour or two from Jackson - off of HW 108

Vandall & 85Toyota: I already have a 4WD truck that I need for summer work and for winter snow - I just don't have a practical reason to drive it anymore (not that one needs a practical reason to drive a truck like that) - the cost of insurance is just one more bill I can do without

Vandall: good luck on your 72' rebuild

I'll post some photos of the interior and engine when I get a chance to take them.

    Thanks for the comments
