Yea I was hearing them fall out one by one lol. You know the 4 driveshaft bolts? Yea well they fell out and eventually there was one. And you can imagine what a driveshaft would do if 1 of the 4 bolts was left. It kinda spun around and did a whip kinda action where it tore the center bearing right off of the frame mount on the crossmember. Then it bounced around abit denting in my gas tank and part of my exhaust. I can fix it no problem though. And I wanted a new gas tank anyway. But I can still drive it. It was just extremely lucky that the driveshaft decided to break right next to my Dad's shop and mechanic shop.

Yea. I hope you all learn from this. Use threadlocker and make sure that your driveshaft bolts are really tight. And make sure they have a lock washer too.

So far I have fixed my exhaust. And fabbed up my new carrier bearing mount. I just need to straighten it all up and weld it in. I want to make some drag blocks and get her back on the road. Literally ON the road.

    Doing good

Well everything is going well with the truck. I fixed the carrier bearing and properly installed the driveshaft. I haven't had a problem since. Here is how I fixed it:

    Nelson BC with the truck

I was cruising around taking pics today. I have 2 snow tires mounted and I need to finish boring out the centers on my other 2. They are mounted on Supra rims.

Newest mods are the side exit exhaust. But one of the exhaust hangers touches my tire when I lay it out. So I need to change that.

Here I was at the car show in Nelson a little over a month ago. Oh ya and I have raised the bed floor by using 16gauge square tubing for a frame. And sheet metal over it. I rattle can sprayed bed liner and white krylon paint.

No those are original doors. I cut the bottom off them though because of rust. All the rocker panels are new 1/8 inch metal. I made it work. Then a while after I did that I saw another truck with the same idea featured in MiniTruckin mag 1994 Toyota King Cab Hardwood Rear Angle Photo 3

It's a lot of work. Good luck with yours.

thanks, its a work in progress.
either way, they look damn good.
i wanna get doors off of a 2 door 4runner. i have smoking windows and manual windows and locks currently and hate it. i could just pull the parts for the door off a regular 4runner, but im too lazy for that when i could just get a whole new door. lol

    It has been a while

I am trying to sell my truck still so I am uploading some current pics. I just show people my build thread when they have questions. I'm real busy with drifting my Supra so my poor truck is just sitting. It needs a proper owner to take care of it:D
