I picked this up from a guy in colorado for $2000 and drove it back home to pa. It is a sr5 with 79k on it. It is going to be a slow build but eventually its going to get bagged, painted white and blue, and otherwise restored. Any information on bagging would be great, especially the front, the rear I know will get 4 link. These tires aren't on it anymore, I just put 185/60 and 195/60's on tonight.
nice!! are you gona keep it classic? i think this model with smaller wheels looks great... 15x8 or 15x9 is plenty. widened 14s would be cool too. cant wait to see where you take this beauty. what sorts of mods did it have when you bought it?
79k original miles ? If so that's gotta be some kinda record That your dodge two .Is that the 12valve mechanical injection cummins .one of my favorites to work on when they come in .wich isn't a lot
I'm going to keep 14's on it, I would like to get baby moons for it eventually. When I got it it just had cut coils and drop blocks. I haven't really done anything except grand am bucket seats so far, but winter the front will be getting bags. The dodge is mine, although I am looking to sell it, and it is a p-pump 12 valve cummins, the only engine I've worked on that is easier than my 22re.
79k miles? nice. Mine's got 95k or so. At least yours started out driving. I've still got to pick up an alternator for mine. Keep us updated.
Nice work... need new seats in my '81...i like the bench in my '77. Your going to bags in the front first? If you want to ship the cut coils i may want 'em, when you go bags.
I don't think you want them, in the picture the truck is sitting on the rubber bump stops(with the bottom box removed) and if I take them out it leaves about 1/2" between the road and the arms, they were cut way too short.
cool... i just dont want to cut mine...i think ill get mighty max drop springs. i wonder if anyone has done this...ive see mention, but never seen them on one of these trucks.

smaller steering wheels make these truck drive so much better i had a 12 in' wheel in my daily and now driving my new one with the original wheel is so much more work im switchin to the smaller one after i fit my aftermarket race buckets in
Looks pretty rad. About the height of mine without the camber or factory paint. I even painted my steelies bronze for a couple years. And I got my 78 with 81k from the 2nd owner so its not unheard of to have under a hundo
