awesome work man! our trucks look like long lost twins haha only im running kumho tires on 195/50/r15's and have roof racks.
any plans to bag it? post up some interior pics =]
how difficult is the halo conversion? i have never done one...
like the window tint on the windshield idea, but its illegal as ****. kinda like flame throwers on exhaust.

heh, sorry to double post, but i got a helluva deal on a pair of yakima racks i found a 4runner at the junk yard. i was just looking for headlight adjuster and a horn and found em by fortune.

saw the key on the ring in the ignition and got a little excited. grabbed it real quick, unlocked the racks and i was glad i was alone because i did a little happy dance lol. threw my new prizes into the back seat, walked to the office and said "how much for the roof racks on the yota out there?"....

dude said "50 bucks and they are yours." i almost lost my ****.
me trying to play it cool "ehhh, i'll think about it."

peeled out of the parking lot to the nearest bank, took out a hundred bucks ( still had to get headlight adjusters and horn) and called my other half to make sure my balls wouldn't get cut off for making said purchase.

later that day at the junk yard.....

get back to the 4runner half expecting the racks to be gone even though the key to the racks is in my pocket (im a mechanics son, i know junkyard procedure;] ) luckily, still there. grabbed my horn, headlight adjusters all the fuses, screws and little crap i could stuff in my pockets and walked back to the office ready to offer dude 75 bucks... i walk in and before i can say a word, he says "that it??? 60 bucks!". :jawdrop:

paid the man, went home and heres the current state now =]

cam install was pretty easy. you can do it with out taking out the headers, intake and changing the head gasket. but since i was half way there i did anyway.

i had walmart roof racks. 30$

i figured that windshield tint would hinder your view a tid bit lol. really?!?? you are the first person i have ever heard tell me that static drops are best. although i know my dad has been building jettas for 20+ years and he insists on using nothing but bilsteins. i have looked into them but they are pretty damned expensive.
