Just got a progressive weber, its the DFAV model so the linkage rotates clockwise, but the weber kits sold for our trucks are the DGEV model and those linkages rotates counter clockwise. So can I still use it on my truck or do I need to modify my own linkage to make it work??
Yea you could get some plugs or if you don't have emissions remove all those non needed vacuum lines I only have one for my vac advance on my distributer I used a brass threaded plug to replace the vacuum multi port thing that screws into the manifold ...got any pics of the linkage
wow thats a werid bracket...the correct one you can just 180 the bracket and change which way teh cable pulls the throttle. might wanna look for the right one for out cars..
So I decided to just buy a whole new conversion kit since the carb a have isn't even the correct one. I just finished searching the form to find a good online dealer for "genuine" weber carbs. I found two sites carburation.com and REDLINE - Serving the U.S., Canada, Central and South America for over 30 years and want to know which one is better as far as price, quality and service? And any bad experience with either of them?
Ive ordered from redline a few times, their customer support is awesome and they ship pretty damn fast too. I've never heard of the carburation.com site. edit: I think the carburation.com site is just a place holder site too, it says teh domain is for sale at the top of their page.
