    Hey guys,

i'm a recent new member to Toyota mini's and thought i would say hi and share my project truck with you.

i'm 25 years old and live in the UK, i have been building my mini truck for just over two years and i believe that it is the only mini truck in the UK at the moment.

the truck was pretty much standard when i got it apart from the wire knock ons and a heavily damaged 2.4 diesel engine.

my first job was to replace the engine so i sourced a 3.9 v8 and a conversion bell housing kit to fit it, unfortunately i didn't realise that the linkages for the manual column shifter bolted to the original bell housing and it would be way too much work to fit the v8 so i opted just to replace with another 2.4 diesel. ahh well low and slow it is ;)

i think thats enough chatter for now so i will let the pictures do the talking.

please bear in mind the truck is still a work in progress and some modifications are temporary.

hope you guys can tell me if anything should be changed or made better etc :)

thanks for the kind words guys, this truck has taken over my life and bank balance for the past few years and i'm so happy it is road legal and close to completion.

it has been so difficult building this truck in England as it is almost impossible to get hold of things like compressors, valves, bags, air tank etc so i have had to import everything from the US at great cost :(

and if it wasn't for this site and you guys and the helpful how-to's and project threads i would not of known were to start!!

yea ive always been 50/50 on the wire wheels but they are realy starting to grow on me :)

    thanks,

    Steve

Dang man, those Daytons... i love them (never thought i'd say that) but they seem to just make that truck. i also think it's awesome that the shape of your tail lights is similar to that of your exhaust tip. keep up the great work man, it looks really sick.

Is there maybe a body drop in its future?

funny, i played with the shipping thing at the bottom of the page, and it didnt say you couldnt ship to the US, didn't say you could either. lol
