got the driver side taillight all cut out and ready to have the colorado taillight buckets welded in. heres some teasers for ya, let me know what you think.
from what i was told they have only been done once and they were upside down, bob grant did em i believe. i was told by many people that it couldnt be done the way their supposed to go. so i believe im the first to do so. as far as the body, the bedside matches up awesome. just gonna need a lil work around the bottom corner and i gotta cut my skin loose to put just a tad bit more contour to it this is the pic from grant, I mean it looks cool up side down but i didnt wanna have to cut into that body lone and try to fade it out with filler or something, and after being told they wouldnt work that way i had to try it lol
not bad man! I wonder if it'd look good if it was mounted slightly higher, but you proved it was doable!
couldnt do it with out having to cut out the corner of my lifted bed floor. those buckets are really deep. that and i didnt want that body line just under the bed rail to fall right into the tail light
lmao i feel like a retard but i just caught my self watching the clip Robert put up for like 5 min and was nodding my head as well
looks good man keep it up! I cant wait to see the finished product with lots of pics!!!!! IMO it gives the rear of the truck a nice aggressive look
The way he did it makes it look like the body line wraps around the whole rear end. They look better the way u did it
