hi guys, i was thinking about a crew cab design on my 71 lux, of course it wont be 4 door, this will achieve 3 more passengers and sound equipment. it wll also lose trunk bed space however, i know its do able, just wondering what your thoughts are?
if u got the right tools and know how it should be pretty cool and i spy a starion/conquest in the back.
This is cutting out the back of the cab and pretty well attaching it to the bed? what would be really cool is if you just basically push a tub out of the back of the cab into the bed and then make one of those tops but make it removable like a first gen 4runner or trekker. If that makes any sense?
It would be like building a cab to the bed and attaching it to the front cab with those camper seals, A removable top would be awesome also, kinda like them bronco,4runner etc
so the bed would ultimately be detachable from the cab? yeah, it also might help retain some of your carrying capacity.
i just seen like a mid to late 80s toyota pickup with that cab on it, if you could pull it off it would be really cool to see, i like them, and i think on that body style it would be killer man, do it!
