    Serious update:

The trucks harness needed some TLC. Over the years of having many upgrades, some mechanical and some electronically (involving the harness) The harness needed much attention in wire eliminations, loose connections, plugs no longer in use, etc.. Will be in great shape once done and will be running well once again soon.

was it the crimped connections in the harness?

one thing that worries me about the harness sean did for me is the lack of soldering. but it runs so he must have done something right lol. now to get it driving and make sure the trans works like it should.

Butt connectors are quick and easy but you are right. That stuff worries me too and makes me wonder if they will wiggle loose. Im not a wiring expert so I leave it to somebody else to have fun with that, yet, I have my common sense.

He got closed down, He started getting many complaints from customers, taking 6 months or more to do a harness or not even doing there harness and taking there money. I was never affiliated with it but always tried to help push his business and help on my own time for free but

**** happens and now its gone, He had a great thing going and F'd up.

    Back on topic.....

Couple more weeks till the harness is back, cant wait, should be fun

OK everyone, been a long time. So new news: Got rid of the piggyback system (looked to be what was the issue) Got me a AEM v1 standalone and going that route. Will have the truck tuned on the 1st fo the year so should have some good numbers.

Reason for not being on here:
    1) trying to figure out the truck so did not have any updates.
    2) I have just found out that in May I am getting stationed in VA so have been dealing with all that as well.

Who did you have build your harness for you? I have been quoted $650 for a custom harness by Tweaked Performance. Is that a rip off?
I have the 1JZ and motor mounts ready to go, but still need the harness.

    Thanks for any help

That sounds about right for the price considering it is not a super common swap. Some people can figure out all the wiring themselves so they call that a rip off. But some other people call it worth it because it saves many headaches of trying to figure out the wiring. I have read about Dr Tweak there and he has done many harnesses and seems to do good work. As long as he knows exactly what you want then he will do it right I believe.

may add in comment thou nice thus far

but make sure your rad has no direct contact with steel it should sit on rubber if not electrolysis's will happen

since you coolant will cause you rad to carroad out and then leak over time kinda like cemicle based battery (water acid)

Yeah we got rubber bumpstops at the bottom of the rad. And yes I had Tweaks performance do the harness but as i just had mine cleaned up it cost me 400.
