So I added the 4runner cluster and I have a few questions. I cant get the tach to work, I added an input wire from the coil to the tach (looked in my wire digaram and added a pin to the factory plug) and it doesnt workIs there a better way to make it work? Also I have been having issues with the gas gauge. when I fill the tank the gauge goes way past full and and it doesnt go to empty. Is the cluster calibrated to the 4runner and its bigger tank or should it go to empty regardless? It works but its annoying that I have to remember that 1/4 tank is empty.
The positive terminal. I also no longer have a stock coil on it. I changed to a coil off of an 85 pickup so I could run the normal plug wires and not the ones they put on the later model trucks.
did you also mess with that potentiometer in the cluster? i know that has to be adjusted in order to work with the 22r.
