My experience with this mod is you just don't get enough flare on the taco bedsides to make it worth the risk of messing up the edge of the lip. I'm no stranger to flaring bedsides, back in the day I'd easily get about 4" or so from ford rangers, but these Taco beds don't flare much, (yes I'm cutting the brace above the liner and adding a weld in piece, and undoing the area in front & behind the wheel toward the bottom of the fender to allow it to flex more) but just wasn't able to get much if any flare at all. What's going Alex, we need info? How much actual flare did you get at the wheel lip? Or is most of it down lower in front and behind the wheel opening? This is why I run a 89 axle in my 99, it gave me 2" of room per side to get some meat outward instead of it all being inward. 275/35/18 on 18x9+36
obviously like Toyota Hilux, Pickup, and Stout Owner's Forum | ToyotaMinis.com however you need to test the spelling on several of your posts. A number of them are rife with spelling problems and I to find it very troublesome to tell the reality nevertheless I'll definitely come back again. good luck
