Hello everybody. My name is Jeremy and I come to you from the great (not really) state of Idaho. This will be the build thread and record keeping thread for my daily beater. Now let's get down to business

Sold my daily driver 89 Civic and got this to replace it.
I'm more of a "built not bought" kinda guy, but I made an exception this time.

1987 Toyota Pickup (Truck, Hilux, etc.)
    22R with 180k. Automatic Transmission.
Power steering, Air conditioning, and Cruise control!

So this is the day I got it in all its already modded glory
    [IMG]

    Mods when I got it
Body- shaved doors, smooth roll pan, license plate box in tailgate, primered, phantom grille, 89 Toyota 2wd front bumper, tinted windows
Interior- Subaru Outback dark grey leather seats, funky center console out of something else, pioneer cd player, concept speakers.
Wheels- BSA 17x7.5 +40mm offset bronze wheels and 205/40-17 Federal tires
Suspension- bagged (doesn't lay out), slam specialties bags, viair 450 compressor, 5 gal tank, smc 1/2" valves, 1/2" air line, clear 10 switch switchbox

    Couple more pics

Feedback is welcomed. Just don't be too harsh :)

nice starting point. That's gets a lot of lift in the front. How does it ride and handle?

It rides somewhat ok. The fact it ain't got no shocks is an issue that's gonna be addressed soon.

So what are the future plans for this bad boy you might ask? Well, just like everybody else, I just want to upgrade it and make it my own to the best of my ability. Plans change daily so we will just see where this truck ends up at the end of its journey.

    That being said.......let's continue!

Sooo.....my very 1st mod I've done? Back into my neighbours concrete wall. LOL Definatly give that mod 2 big thumbs down. Oh well.......

Next I removed the headrests(hate those things) and installed a GT Grant steering wheel. I'm big but I don't like my steering wheels to be big. No pics of this tho. Sorry...

Next I addressed the wheels. The 17s were cool and tires are literally brand new but I like smaller wheels. So I had a set laying around that I decided to try out and I really like the results.

14x7.5 -6mm Delta wheels and 175/65-14 tires. Gotta love some stretch.
Bed took some rolling, pulling, and tugging but they fit.
