So how are you registering this runner? Cause in CA it says if vehicles are made of one or more vins it is based off frame vin. So thts what I'm going off of

in az they wont even look at the frame, they just check the vin, but he wont even need to get inspection, and the 4runner i believe is already registered since he got the plate

so when you get pulled over and they look at the reg and its states its a pick up yet it looks like a suv they will tow your ****! swapping the vin wont help either cause when they run it and it comes back as a pickup still on a suv body ubfukd.

Great project man, I feel your pain on leaving it alone, but you get to the point where there is no return or short cuts and you have to do it the right way. I'm on car number 14 in a span of 1 year. And it's not my full time job but just a hobby. Next car I am buying done! Well, maybe just swap out the wheels... That's where it starts right?

been tinkering with the runner some more.

got the pedal assembly and firewall modified for the 88 toyota mr-2 brake booster

this shows where the clutch m/c will be

removed the old clutch line and copied it with a new line, except mine goes into the firewall. it's the bottom darker one.

and got it hooked to the m/c. just need my wife here to help bleed it.
