i just was wondering how can you tell if a truck is a SR5 or not? ive been seeing alot of trucks for sale saying their SR5 but they all are different from one i my self owned it was a 84 pickup 4x4 SR5 it had a sunroof power antena tach in the cluster a/c p/s and was supposed to have power windows but the pervious owner took them out CAN ANYONE HELP ME
Is what I was thinking but I don't really know about the sunroof and remember had bucket seats in my truck the ones I traded you right?
Baisically SR5 going get nicer interior; bucket seats, center console, cloth door pannels, vent windows on the doors, 5speed, chrome, door pockets, etc. I think your silver truck was SR5 too.
I think was just sr5 interior from one other truck cuz wasn't made for bucket seats cuz when I have put the teggy seats I had to make my own holes
Besides all the trim and interior pieces, there will be an "S" in the VIN. It will be at position 8. And yes, there are a lot of sellers out there in the auction houses that advertise a Toyota pickup truck as an SR5 when in fact it is not. It's also funny how they refer to our trucks as a Tacoma...LOL!!! Rick
Oh that is one of my biggest pet peeves!! So many dealers think SR5 means pickup or like thats the model name. Makes it impossible to find a real SR5 when doing an online search.
i know what you mean im trying to find a sr5 with the whole package sunroof power everyting and a solid axle so years 84-85 in AZ because thats where i was planning on going to college
