I desperately want to tuck 0 offset 16x8's on my truck! Is there a chance that any of the other year trucks have narrower arms that I can directly bolt in to mine to make my truck like a 1/2" to an 1" narrower per side in the front? the rear obviously I would just need a 79-85 rear axle. If not than it looks like Ill be building some narrower arms or rolling the absolute crap outta my fenders!

from what i've read people swapping out their 79-83 arms and spindles for 84+ see about 1/2" per side widening so i imagine it works the same going backwards.

but i wouldn't swap old model parts as they're be harder to find then what you have now. there's been lots of toyota frames narrowed to tuck wheels so thats an option but not worth it in my opinion on a static truck.

Just a thought. Why stick with the zero offset? Do you have a specific set of wheels that can't be replaced? Seems to me that narrowing the frontend would be way more expensive and work than just getting a wheel with more offset.

You can add negative camber by adding more shims to the UCA.

most of the wheels I have found that I like are 0 offset....and I dont want to run a wheel with so much offset that I have to keep running spacers like I am now. It def sounds like narrowing my front end would be more work than its worth so Ill have to find another way...sounds like a little more camber might be an option

I'm running the 16x8 conquest rears on the front and they are -10 but I also have.... a 4runner so just get 4wd fenders and your golden and no messing and wasting money on this mod and spend it on something else...

If your 4runner were a couple inches lower and you were running 0 offset wheels, they would def clear? Is that what your saying? Cuz that just made my day...now my wheel choices have just opened back up a bit. ANd what front bumper is that?

Well he said he has -10 meaning his wheels stick out more than your 0 offset will

yeah i can go lower but im happy with this ride height... and if i did i lower for sure tuck tire and still clear the fenders and the wheels arent flush either with this setup.
