That looks nice. How much of a pain was welding in all straight and centered? Any plans for a custom grill insert down the road?

Went to the local junkyards again today and scored a 4 runner cluster and seats. Seats were a 'lil rough but the best I've seen so I scooped 'em up with intent to re-do them eventually. And also got the center 4 runner brace I needed for the hood latch / grill clip.

 

What are the benefits of the 4runner core support over the stock one?

I know the headlight buckets are different on the 4 runner. I think with the 2wd one you have to trim out the buckets and do a little modding. I just opted do the core support cause its easy and cheap. I really did'nt look into the 2wd mods so not entirely sure.

New cluster / dash / seats installed. Like I said B4, seats a little rough but my wife sewed up the driver side tears for me and gave 'em a good cleaning. Not too shabby I'd say.





Other seats still outside drying out... Which also means It's time to fix the hole in floor for the driveshaft finally... Bout to run 2 autozone and get a new oil pressure sending unit and belt / alternator as mine is finally starting to make some fun noises.(think its original toyota w/ 130k mi).

 

Are those the seats with lumbar adjustment? If so I have the same ones but a brown color an you will love them
