Im in the process of taking my engine out to have it rebuilt. I have run into a snag. I can't get it to free itself from the transmission. I removed the two upper 17's, the 4 lower 14's, starter, clutch cylinder, all the motor mount bolts. As of right now i dont have access to a engine lift, but its stripped down to just the short block (heads already out). Am i forgetting something?

Get some friends and something for leverage....seriously no point in jacking up your back when a 6 pack of beer and a friend can fix the situation.

There are 2 more, one just above the slave cylinder and one one right at the bottom of the block on the driver side.

I think I got those too. Cause the block and transmisson are slightly seperated (like 1/4 to 1/2"). I think Im just going to go run to my uncles house in the morning and grab his hoist. Figure im going to need it to put it back in anyways, might as well get it now and save some frustration.

Maybe the motor mount bolts? I unbolted the center motor mount bolts thinking it was
the same as a small block chevy... After a few choice words .. I figured out the mount
needed to be completly unbolted from the frame....
    good luck mang..
