I wanted to do a coil front suspension on my 91 2wd Toyota pickup. Wanted to to know if any one has any info on how to do this and what parts I'll need. Any helpis most appreciated.
I was literally thinking about this less than 10 minutes ago.. I'll let you know if I find anything. one of my friends had a 80 yota, he said he added a coil spring around the front shocks. I sent him a message, hopefully he can help me/us out. also, theres some info in this thread: http://www.toyotaminis.com/forum/suspension-chassis-67/torsion-coilovers-6076/ some things to think about from an old post: http://www.toyotaminis.com/forum/58969-post30.html
Check out Dcups' Runner in the build section. He did a QA1 coilover suspension, looks clean and simple. http://www.toyotaminis.com/forum/bu...-25/invasion-body-snatchers-1252/index13.html
no it won't with a completely stock u.c.a. at a minimum you'd need to clearance the center out to clear the coil. and then you'll need to get creative with how to clear the stock u.c.a. cross shaft with the upper coil over mount
Ok thanks burnzya guess gonna need a cando upper arm for this. As for the upper mount creative is my middle name. If it can be welded it can be made. Best sticker I seen. "don't worry I welded it" hahaha
Damn for that I could str8 axel it hmmm what to do what to do?? Grounded= dodging speed bumps bumped when it rains. str8 axel= launching speed bumps but tire tickets on the daily bases. And pray for rain. Hummmmm what do you guys think
