So it turns out my passenger side shock was blown & not even attached at the bottom mounts. Making lots of rattling noises.

So upon taking my wheel off i noticed my front shock mounts were modified and raised up pretty high.

    1/2" steel, pretty well made.
Anyways is there a bigger sized shock that would fit the model (85)? The one i got in there is very oversized & firm. I think i'm gonna have to cut the main shat to get it out of there.
Anyone attempt to throw in a stronger/higher rating shock?

69 camaro shocks seems to be what most people run for stiffness.

At napa autoparts....they can cross reference shocks. Just tell them what ends the shocks have and measurement inbtween the mounts you'd like and they can find what can work.

Had to do this for my scion on airbags...and found out the seinna mini van shocks would work best for what I need.
