Ah nice, I'm super jealous of you Hawaiians. You guys seem to have the best ae86's and vintage yotas and whatnot.
Prices are super high though. And hard to find any toyota older then that, unless its an original FJ type. I wish i could be like you guys and walk to a junkyard full of yotas. Or find a 74 for $500
ah very true. okay, I'll say this: you guys have more people with good taste, but we have more availability haha.
i really like hella flush and fatlace. but im really likeing the oldschool jdm look with the small wheels with huge dish and the stretched tires. not many of the hellaflush are like that. love em both
hellaflush and fatlace are cults, that's all i can say. None of their major cars are flush anyway. get biggest wheels with widest deepest lowest offset, add the most camber you can, and shove it in the car. to a certain degree it looks nice (no pun intended), but its overkill once you pass it and its not functional by any mean. but hey, no one's gunna hold you back from making your truck look old school JDM
I fit mustang 18x9.5's with 265/35/18's on my truck. only rubs inside at full lock. I have 4wd fenders.
Yup^^^ Off the top of my head I know two people running 15x10's. One is at a 3" drop with 205/50/15. The other is 4/3" with 195/50/15. Both sit on bumpstops & ride like hell. Absolutely no suspension play.....but if there was any...there would be shredded tires.
im lookin to run this setup (15x10) wheels and around a 195/50 or 195/45 tire... keep in mind all tires do not fit or form exactly the same... some 195/50's some 195/45's
After having 3 sets of 7-7.5" wide rears on my hilux, with varying offsets and a ton of drop, I think a 10 would even fit the old trucks. Its all about the right specs, like everybody is saying. And now that I have thrown 17s on a 2nd gen, I wanna throw some 17s on a first gen. That would look kill.
i need to find out where the build thread is on this truck and what the wheel specs are! this is perfect!!
