    Hey fellow members, what I have here is a toyota truck that im selling for a friend and here is a list of what it has along with pictures. He's asking for 8,500 obo.and in no rush to sell. you can email me at [email protected] if interested. thanks for looking.

    -1989 toyota p/u truck
    -smoked LED taillights
    -3" lowering blocks
    - lowering spindles
    -15" American Racing wheels (black)
    -JDM 4Runner front end (H4 lights)
    -4Runner grille, fenders, and bumper
    -4Runner clear turn and corner lights
    --converted side view mirrors to chrome ones
    -black/chrome door handles
    -blue MOMO racing reclinable seats
    -1UZFE Lexus SC400 engine with stock auto tranny
    -INJEN intake kit
    -Aluminum KOYO radiator
    -Dual 10" Flex-A-Lite fans
    -modified headers to clear frame
    -custom dual cat back system merging to Y- pipe thru single exhaust
    -External Walbro fuel pump
    -Custom fuel stainless steel braid lines
    -Brand new OEM Toyota starter
    -Brand new OEM intake manifold upper and lower gaskets
    -New fuel injector bottom seal rings
    -Custom tranny cooler
    -New battery
    -Replacement of alternator
    -Custom driveshaft
    -New NGK spark plugs
    etc.

    The truck runs greats and its lots of fun to drive, this engine is very reliable for street driving. Compression test was done and all cylinders were in the 175-180 psi range. The truck is currently primered in white with very minimal rust. This truck has heat but no A/C. It is also non power steering. Email me at [email protected] with offers or questions. Thanks

    Thanks for the comments fellas. We did the swap and our friend spent more than that in parts and labor alone for the swap, so the price is reasonable for what the truck has and like I said the truck runs and sounds great!!! Someone buy it, bag it, dodydrop it and tuck some 20's in there and ur set:D

    Besides the rods, not really. The block is cast iron and it produces more torque. The non-VVT 1UZ is rated at 250hp/260 ft.lb.. The 2UZ is rated at 245hp/315 ft.lb.. I already have the 2UZ engine and trans, the only thing I'm lacking is the inside cab wiring harness and fuse box.

    the 1uz is so much lighter though......a 2uz or any iron block v8 I feel would throw off the weight balance worse than it already is.

    Trucks weren't designed to go around corners!:D Besides I was going to install a small block Ford in it anyways so I decided it would be cool to drop a V8 Toyota in it instead.
