i was planning on swapping my hilux body onto my 94 frame to make it smog exempt but i dont know how different the wheel bases are. any help would be greatly appreciated. trying to put a 73 short bed body on my 94 short bed frame. thanks in advance!

 

im pretty sure the 73 body is shorter then the 94, i know my 73 seems narrower and shorter feeling to me then my old 93...

why dont you just put the stuff from the 94 into the 73?

 

The length and width are different. Theres a thread on here somewhere with meaurements

 

Actually vehicle identity is based off the frame. I believe its vehicle code 671

 

im just trying to see how different the wheel bases are. i dont like how close the frame rails are under the hood of the 73. plus my 94 is already on the road so i would be able to drive it sooner

i just wanna know if i have to move the rear wheel wells at all to swap over. can anyone post a link to the thread with the measurments? i tried to search it on google but couldnt find anything for my 73
