Door Poppers

    Hey fellow TMers. I plan on shaving my door handles and was wondering what is the best door popper kit to get? I already have a alarm that im going to use for the poppers so i dont need the remote button part. So what do you guys recommened or use on yours? Pics to if possible.:waytogo::waytogo:

    Auto Loc is a good brand. If you are just buying the solenoids or actuators, you will also need relays. Your alarm isn't going to put out enough power on its own to fire them.

    Do they sell a kit that comes with everything i need but the alarm buttons?

    Would you have to solder the kits? I thought about this for a while.

    Spal solenoids come with a rubber boot that helps keep water out of them!
    I've been running the Spal brand for over 7 years now ,no problems!
    Here's a link to solenoids only New Spal Door/Trunk Popper Solenoid on eBay!

    Yup Im on my third set of Spals, in different vehicles. Never left me down. And its only like $85 for the kit, Brain has 7 functions, So I can raise and lower my truck and air horn with the same remote :)

    Ok so what all do i need then for the doors besides those SPAL SOLENOIDS and my remote start alarm? Sorry for so many questions.

    Two relays,cable & cable clamps ( I get these @ OSH supply),I also like using relay blocks that the wires go into & the relays push into,keeps things cleaner!Should be able to find @ a Frys!
    Also get the safety push button,for a case a bad remote!:cool:

    Cool thanks for the info and advise TRUCK ACTION. Looks like im going to go with the 40lb SPAL SOLENOIDS. Everyone i talked to said they recomended them. Thanks for all the help TMers
