This is my 1993 Yota Pickup. My granddad bought it in 95 or 96. I got it right before my grandmother died about 5 years ago. It has 230,XXX miles on it and runs great. I'll never sell it. I've been putting part back for a couple of years now, and next weekend i will finally be putting it together.

This is how he sits right now. The Wheels are off of a 2009 Ford Ranger. I'll tell you why they are on there in a second.

This is how it used to sit. 15"x8" Baby Moons with 225/60/15. LOVED these wheels, but the backspacing was to much and the stuck out past the fenders just a hair and didn't want to drop it with the wheels on due to rubbing issues. So i sold the wheels to go to the Southwest Classic game at Cowboys Stadium to watch my Arkansas Razorbacks kick Texas A&M's ass. Great trip.

Bought these 17" Mustang Bullitt wheels for $300. They have been sitting under my bed for 2 years waiting to go on the truck. These pics are of me testing the fit of them. Going to have to run longer wheel studs and spacers up front due to the wheels hitting the shock mounts.

Got the tires that i've had for 2 years finally mounted. they are 225/45/17 Kumhos. Wish i had gotten 235 or 245s cause the wheel lips stick out just a hair, but they will be fine. it's only noticeable to me.

Next weekend I will be installing my 2" drop spindles and 3" drop leafs as well as the wheels. May do it this weekend if I can get off my lazy ass. Looking for 4Runner fenders and bumper.

The reason i call him the "Confused Yota" is cause he will have Ford Mustang wheels on and I really want to put a Ford 302 in him when the engine finally goes. I love old rat rods too. I will be building one in the future. this truck will have a old school feel to it.

Nice truck bro and welcome to TM. Loved the first set of rims the best. Could of easly made those fit if you drop it. ROll the fenders in front and back or get the 4runner-4x4 fenders. How low you plan to go? Keep up the good work. How come there is no pic with these wheels on the truck with the new rubber?

Yeah I liked the first wheels better as well. The reason they aren't on yet is cause I'm waiting to put the drop on cause that's when I'll put the longer wheel studs on. I have to run spacers on the front due to rubbing issues and the stock lugs don't have enough threads to get a good tight fit on the lugs. I'm working on my wife's Civic right now. Just about done so I think that I'm going to pull the Yota in the garage and see what they look like on the truck. I'll take pics and post them after I'm done.

The drop will be 2" in the front with the drop spindles and 3" in the back with the drop leaf springs. The stock leafs sag a little so it might not be exactly a 3" drop on the rear due to the sagging but I think it will still look good. I'm trying not to have to put in a small notch cause I still use the truck to haul stuff and don't want to take the chance of messing the frame up. This truck means a lot to me so I'm trying to not do anything crazy to it until the engine fully goes out then I'm wanting to put a 302 in it.

Put the wheels on last night. Not to happy with how they fit in the rear. They sit about an inch and a quarter from the edge of the wheel well. I may run a small spacer to bring it out a bit. Also looking at a 17x10.5 wheel on eBay that I think would look great on there if they will fit. Here are some pics...

All these measurements are before the drop. I will be working on the drop over the next couple of days. I'll be doing this on my own and have never dropped one of these trucks before.
