I want to buy some 18 rims for my truck.
The size for the front is 18-8.5 with 25mm off set and a 1.75 lip will they fit?

I have the lexus is 250 wheels on mine. They are 18x8 in the front and 18 x 8.5 in the rear. I belive my fronts are 45mm offset and the rear is 50mm. I have the 2wd fenders and they fit under the fenders, however there are clearance issues in on the frame side where the wheel can contact the strut rod, so the steering stops were adjusted to prevent this. in the rear im running a 5/16" spacer and the tires rub the wheel wells when the axle "flexes". I dont know how much that helped but that what im running and it fits.

I tried my buddys 17x9....not sure of the offset. Rubbed slightly on the rear, gotta have a decent streched tire to run it.

Max that i could fit on my 2wd fenders without any roll was 17x9 offset 12. i had on 18x8.5 offset 48 rubbed when i turn.

Anything below 35 offset and not over 12 offset is good on an 8.5 fitment wise.

12 offset fitted snugly with stretched tires. 17x9 with 215 45 tires

^^ Yup. The only time when the 18x9/9.5's rubbed was on the inside for my truck when i turned it allll the way.

IMO, I would not go less than +30 offset and no higher than +40 offset unless you want to be chasing rub issues. I mean ultimately it depends on your wheel and tire combo. 16" to 20", wide tires, stretched tires. You have so many variables but if you have the right offset then you won't need spacers. If you get spacers you will need longer wheel studs. I personally don't understand the need for a spacer other than a quick fit to a longer problem. I helped a buddy that was using spacers and he was on about 6 threads on each bolt and had it torqued down over 100 ft lbs when it was rated at 80 (Honda Civic btw). I was amazed that he didn't strip the bolts or the studs. If you want to keep your wheels get longer studs, never use universal spacers. They have to match your bold pattern. The best thing to do is get your wheel well measured for best fitment. I measured mine and wanted to use a 17X9 in the front, 17X9.5 in the rear. I need a +33 offset for no issues. However that is a custom offset. So I can spend big $$$ on wheels or get +30 offset wheel and 4WD front fenders and stretched tires and have no problem if I have less than a 4/4 drop but since I plan on going 6/6 and beyond. I will probably have to roll the fender. Sorry so long winded but I hope this helps.
