So i might have the hook up on a another free 18rc
IF that falls through I have 2 options.

    Get a 22re from a friend for $400 w/harness,ecu and everything.
    Or
Get a 7mge (cressida) from another friend for $150 w/harness, ecu and everything.

The 7m is obviously a faster motor, but I don't to fabricate a lot right now.
    Any advice is appreciated.:waytogo:

the 7m (or any straight six for that matter) is too big to fit the hilux engine bay without a lot of metal work. my 1uz v8 barely fits and thats with moving the radiator about 3" forward.

    i'd suggest the 22re.

A 22RE is still going to be work to put it in your truck.

    A 7M will take metalwork.

But why do it half assed? American V8!

A 7M isnt as bad as you think, but it is still time consuming with fab work. Honestly if you were gonna go the 7M route ditch the GE and get a GTE.
If your gonna go through all the trouble you might as well get a boosted one!!
