engine drivin compressor!

    is there anyplace that builds mounting kits for engine drivin compressors?

    well i really need to no the pulley set up.mounting isnt really an issue anymore. but on my 88 the crankshaft pulley is one v groove an a 4 spline serpitine. but the lowest splined pulley is a 6. would it work if i used a 4 spline belt to turn the compressor?

    U can actually use ac compressors as an engine driven compressor. 2 of my friends with s10s run it. Its on a down low for them so I only remember polar ice. Or something. But it works quick.

    i got a guy that JUST built one out of his stock A/C pump, were talkin the whole deal, auto shut off, tanks, lines and all, he was sayin the hardest part was fittings, maybe ill go dump $100 or so on fittings and have him do mine then tell ya guys how to do it. he did his on a 4.0 HO jeep with the straight 6 though

    Only ones tht can be converted are York an sandens I believe. Sandens are the only that can take a grease conversion aswell so no dealing with oil
