[/IMG] WELL this is the start, still got alot of work to do but it's my daily driver and fishin rig, well get there
thanks, that's the nickname my niece gave it before I bought it from my sister. it was neglected pretty bad. New tires, Windshield, and paint in the near future. Right now I'm trying to find the tonneau cover that hooks to the hooks on the out side of the box. i found them thanks to this site in Aus and England but not in the US yet. Wanna get it on before the snow flies. so far I've put new exhaust, u joints, radiator, basic tuneup, bed liner, starter, minor cosmetic repair. it's a fun little truck. I drive it 400 miles back to the ranch and then take it deer hunting, or I drive it up in the mountains for flyfishing. I've found out you really don't need one of these new $50,000 rigs to enjoy your hobbies.
thanks, gettin cold up here so not much work bein done to it.....developed a sputter and I think slight miss when it's cold. Gonna look at the vacum lines and intake to see what's up....hopefully an easy fix.
well I guess it turns out that it is a problem with the stupid coolant choke regulator? what a piece of crap carb....maybe change to weber?
I had the excate same problem with my stock carb, had it taken off and thrown off the nearest cliff, installed the weber 32/36 and have never had a problem since, highly recomend this change! Truck looks good.
thanks, I want to do that and reupholster the seat next. I have a 400 mile road trip planned for to see the folks for easter. when I get back....time to paint!
thanks, this is my daily driver. I do what I can to it when I can...I sure enjoy driving it. sunday head out on a 600 mile round trip so I'm gonna take the toy just to see how she's running.
