Ahhh I just parked mine outside last night cause i need the room in the garage. Hopefully someone steals mine cause then I can get a new one. ( I have assumed value insurance). I would def be looking on craigslist in the Portland and Tacoma area maybe even up into vancouver since check stations in upper WA dont check cars just passports. I can nose around here in Idaho

 

Ok here's the update. Thankfully got a call from Everett PD tonight as they had found the truck in an alley. So good news is that she is back home and in the garage! Not so good news is that it was sitting on the ground, 19's gone, battery, and all stereo gone. every piece of the interior that wasn't stolen is trashed except the seats are still mint.

Just glad i got it back so soon, and now you guys don't have to be envious of my interior...

 

Its great u got it back but that interior trashed sucks. Do you have full insurance to get it all fixed?

 

Did you have any security devices, fuel cut off ect? I almost want to somehow immobilize mine just because of how easy it would be too steal.

Just had liability, so no $ coming my way. I did not have an antitheft of any sort, but its not leaving my garage again until it does!

 

It's always a good idea to have some kind of security system on your vehicles ... I just went with the basics on mine.......
* Viper alarm w/ page
* Medco ignition
* Fuel cut off back up
And it helps a little that my son is police sergeant in the community i live in ... LOL ... Good luck on getting yours back together ...

Is a Club Steering Wheel Lock any help?

No...10 seconds with a hacksaw to the steering wheel...and your vehicle is now theirs.

 

OK, I've been avoiding the truck and the forums for a while, but I'm back on here and also back to fixing the truck. I've managed to almost get the truck to a point where i feel comfortable driving it again. new carpet, new amp wiring, put in an old cd player, old crappy amp, and bought some sweet new components that sound way better than my old ones. I found or had spares of most of the interior parts, its just that stacker console thats gonna take a while to find. heres the best pics of the damage that I have. I think the emotional shock made it worse than it really is. Set me back about $2k, but half of that I wanted to replace anyways.
