I've found a few build threads, but nothing that really described what I was after so here is a list of questions:

Can I use the stock 22r radiator or will I have to use the 2jz radiator?
What are the thinnest electric fans that have enough air flow for the 2jz radiator if that's what I have to do?

Here is what I would like to do if possible: put the radiator where it goes with electric fans between the motor and the radiator. The put the intercooler behind the grill in front of the radiator.

I don't want the intercooler to stick out like a big sore thumb so maybe someone has done it on an 84-88 and found the best way to do it.

Another Q: Most of the aftermarket radiators are 2.25-2.5" thick, but it looks like the stock was only 1.25" thick.

So the question is can I run the stock size radiator with two electric fans and be fine or do I really need the massive aftermarket types?

Edit: Anyone know exactly how long the 2jz is from the very back point to the very front *including water pump bolts and all?*

Mk3 radiator will work the best for the 2j.

What year Supra did that come in jc? I'm looking on partstrain.com, but not sure how to specify the mk3 radiator to figure out the dimensions.

87-92, and get dual 12in. Cooling fans, flex a lite 432 are good due to slime design and and also get fan controller to some come with it.

I noticed you said something about the sump setup on your swap. What do the 2jz motors come with and what is involved with swapping to rear sump? It's for clearing the cross member right?
