Hey TMers,

Been having some issues idling and cant figure it out.
It idles really low when you turn it on and takes about 5 miles of driving to idle good.
At first I thoughtmaybe cold start injector but it seems its not only when cold but everytime you tun it on. Whether it's cold or warmed up.

Also when cruising in gear and pressing on the pedal very slightly it sorta bogs and bounces around but when you give anything over 10% throttle it's fine.
Doesn't matter what RPMs but it's really bad between 2500 and 3200.

Please help me with this matter. I love my truck but hate driving cuz of this.

BTW its a 85 SR5 2WD and still EFI..... Thanx in advance!!

 

Thats another thing I forgot to mention. I removed alot of the vacuum lines that I "assumed" I dont need.
May need to look into that.

Oh and another thing, the idle screw has to be pretty far out. Maybe IAC??

Did all this start after you undid all the vacuum lines?

 

It has since I first got it. Its just pretty bad now. Its getting pretty fustrating
