tailgate length?

    85 2x4 long bed pickup
    I have an 85 toyota pickup.I have been lookin for my tape measure for about an hour, cant find it anywhere think my two year old ran off with it any way i am gonna buy a pinstripe decal and i was wonderin if any one knew tailgate width
