The bars just decoration. Was thinking of putting a laser cut plate on it, maybe cradle a nos or nitrogn tank down the track? Exhaust hangs off it too.

Finally with deadline approaching and my truck stuck at a useless shop with crooked rear tubs............ I decided to finish my back flip seats.
Hand sewn so I dunno how long theyd last if people were sitting on them, but nobody will be so should be sweet as.

    IMG_20111109_152617.jpg

Black tweed, then i foam backed it. F$#@*N sore fingers for a few days afterwards! 3M vinyl sprayed the plastics.

well went for my engineers cert/report on friday and failed.
this report is needed to reregister my vehicle as the cops suspended my rego.
    failed on......
    -front bumpstops/bagspacers
    -aftermarket corner indicators
-weber 38mm and removed emissions stuff
    -not running a heater
-non approved rear number plate lights
    -fuel cell pressure test cert
    -hook accuair handbrake wire up
    -weigh bridge ticket
-1 small additional bar to be welded in
    -possible db test on exhaust....

it could be alot worse but sh!t happens. Shops fixing the bumpstops and installing the bar. Trying to find some usd genuine 4wd corner lamps. Removed the weber and half way to getting the emissions sorted. Really cant be bothered changing the busted heater core to run the heater but oh well. Plate lights sorted just gotta hook up the wires. Ill get a reprint of my pressure test cert and a new weigh bridge ticket. Accuair i think i have to swap 1 wire and should be good.

The rain/hail/thunder/lightening doesnt help things either : )

im using the lc engineering heater block plates atm, so ill have to remove the leaking core and swap it out for my spare. i found a good how to online..... not that i didnt know how, I just didnt wanna accept the fact that id have to remove the entire dash etc.

Finished off the plate lights today and fitted the old carb. it runs but like ****. i really wish i had some close up pics of a stock 22r or a really good diagram on all those little emissions hoses i have to reconnect.
